Our goal is to get you on the water for some fun in the sun.



We are the #1 source for stand up paddle boards and kayaks in the upper Midwest. We specialize in rentals, lessons and tours throughout Brainerd lakes area as well as sales of new and used boards. Our line up includes boards by NSP, Surftech, and Naish. We also carry kayaks by Wilderness systems.

 

What is SUP?


Stand Up Paddling is the fastest growing water sport. SUP originates from Hawaii and has been made popular in recent years from pro surfers such as Laird Hamilton and Dave Kalama.

Stand Up Paddling can be done anywhere there is water. From 10ft plus waves in Hawaii to the lakes of Minnesota. We feel the calm tranquil waters of Minnesota are the perfect place to paddle. It’s great exercise and a beautiful way to spend time on the water.

Hi, my name is Evan Lawrence. I’m the owner of MN Surf co.

The idea to bring Stand Up Paddling back to my home state of Minnesota was an easy one. I’ve been traveling the world in search of the perfect wave and have recently discovered this new exciting sport called“Stand Up Paddling.” Having been born and raised in Minnesota and spending most of my life in the Lakes area, I just have to share my passion for water, nature and Stand Up Paddling

 

with you. The goal is to get you on the water for some fun in the sun and give you a lasting experience that you’ll take with you for years to come. Grab your friends and family for a fun exciting adventure on the water.
