DUAL CLEW POSITIONS: Allows the rider to fine tune the rig to his requirements. The higher eyelet assists the rider in hanging off the rig, which is favoured by freestyle riders and many new school wave riders. The lower eyelet position favours shorter riders and allows you to drive more power through the board. In racing rigs, the dual eyelets facilitate different rider heights as well as allowing more control over the leech tension by changing the clew position.
TPR KEVLAR ANTI-ABRASION HEAD PATCH: Protects the adjustment webbing and head assembly stitching from wear during rigging, carrying and launching.
ARC CLEW:The Aramid Radial Clew disperses load from the clew along load aligned patches with internal Aramid reinforcing.
SEAMLESS HEAD PANEL: This high abrasion area is made from only 1 panel and does not carry any exposed seams, preventing any potential weak point in the area. As a result, seam creep and seam-related failure have been eliminated.
SEAMLESS FOOT CONSTRUCTION: A single panel in the foot area with Pro-tect hidden load patches eliminates seam abrasion and seam creep in this high load area.
SLEEVE POP UP:Enables the mast to be inserted into the top of the boom cut-out, without having to leave your comfortable seat at the foot of the sail.
MOLDED TACK FAIRING:Protects your board from impact and neatly covers the foot detailing. It also incorporates rope stash detail for easy storage of downhaul rope.
ARAMID TORSION FRAME:Performs multiple roles for reduced rig weight, increased durability and long-term performance. The Aramid fibres ensure a significant improvement over traditional fibres with regard to strength to weight ratio. This allows us to build the rig lighter and offer increased strength at the same time. The orientation of the Aramid fibres is optimised towards maximum loading and traditional weak spots in the sails.
3 & 4 ROLLER TACK PULLEY:Roller tack pulleys are matched to the sails downhaul requirements. The 4 roller tack pulley is used on the sail models with the highest downhaul load.>
BATTEN ABRASION PROTECTOR:Stitched onto the cross batten of all larger sizes to avoid wear of the batten pocket on the inside of the boom arm.
BALANCED BATTEN POCKETS:On selected sail models, symmetrically weighted batten pockets are stitched on alternate sides rather than on just one side to keep the sail neutrally balanced.
BOOM HEIGHT REFERENCE:Boom height gauge along the boom cut-out for ease of reference.
DROPPED CLEW:Reduces boom length improving manoeuvrability, mechanical foil stability and increases the stiffness when using aluminium booms on larger sails
STABILIZER PANEL:Designed to hold the 3D shaping of this critical area, reducing the vertical stretch of the sail and producing a more stable foil shape when the sail is under load.
