Your first lesson will be on big boards with small sails. We’ll have you sailing out and back on your very first lesson. We’ll teach you the basics of trimming your sail, steering, and turning around. Your instructor will start with an orientation on the beach before moving into the water. Our stable boards and easy to handle sails along with high quality instructors equal success. All equipment is provided. You just need to bring your sunscreen, bathing suit, and your enthusiasm.

Once you’ve had your intro course and are feeling comfortable, we’ll move on to the next step, which is longboard sailing. This is a great way to learn new maneuvers, such as beach starts, harnessing, tacking, and jibing. Learning these skills on a big board will help you master them on your short board. Practice your jibe on these stable boards, and learning to jibe a short board will be significantly easier.

For anyone working on water starts or who has progressed past the intro phase, you will move into the next level of instruction. Our Individualized, private instructions are catered to your specific needs, whether it’s jibing, stance, foot straps, jumping, etc. Each private lesson is 2 hours per session.

Mastering water starts with windsurfing is the key to everything. This windsurfing lesson is one you'll need to learn. Once you master this challenging maneuver, you'll wonder why it was so hard to learn. Your lesson will start on the beach, where you will practice segments of the water start and then move into the water where the fun begins. We’ll make sure you fully understand the fundamentals of this move.
